That day we had a trip to Windsor, to visit the Windsor Castle. My friends and I had a free time to do whatever we wanted to do, and during that time we did many things, we took many photos on different places like the train station, the park close to the castle, McDonald, and some more places. When we were in the park we played some games and we had a snack. After that we walked in the city center looking for gifts-stores. we found a tea store, where some of my mates and I bought some boxes of tea. And when got hungry we went to McDonald to lunch and to connect to the wifi : v . Then, at 2:00 PM we went to the meeting point, which was the train station, to meet with everyone and get into the castle.

After we got into the castle, we noticed that we didn’t have a guide and we had to do the route alone. Then of 5 minutes we started to walk around the castle. we were so lucky because when we were taking photos, started to rain and we had to wait for 10 minutes till stopped raining and we could continue walking, after half and hour we had seen almost all the castle. When We got tired we stopped to walk and we sat for some minutes to return to the coach.

Probably the title of this story sounds a bit strange.

3 weeks ago, after our speech about Panama, my friend Mary Cruz from Ecuador🇪🇨 cooked some empanadas (Empanadas are a traditional food of Panama) and she took them to the ICafe for the group of Panamanians, It was quite amazing, we had 3 months without eat them. We almost cried, because those empanadas reminded us to Panama, and how much we miss the Panamanian food.

I didn’t know how called the next pictures, after a long time watching them, I decided call them “eating Empanadas” as in the title.

Even in the pictures you can see how happy we were, only because we ate empanadas that day.

Almost one month ago, 3 mates gave one speech about our country “Panama”, in that speech the talk about the Panamanian culture, the Panamanian food, Panamanian slangs, and many other things. I couldn’t help them because they panned that speech 3 days before the day that they had to give it. However, they did it well, even better how they were planned. But There is one thing that I won’t forget, and that is that I had to do a little demonstration of a Panamanian dance, I loved it, because I had 3 months without do that. But I said that I won’t forget it because there is a rule which say that Panamanians can not do that kind of demonstration if they are not wearing the correct dress, and in that moment I wasn’t wearing that especial dress. To end, everyone told us that They liked the whole presentation and they really like the food what we took.

The dictionary says that “Success” means: the achieving of the the results wanted or hope for.

Today I woke up with one question on my mind “what does Success mean?” But I wasn’t looking for the meaning which appears in the dictionary, I wanted to know what success means for a common person. So when I got to the university I finished my break as fast as possible to go to the classroom and ask to my teacher “what does success mean for him?” And he answered me that for him “Success is when you achieved one of your goals, and you feel happy with it” . After some minutes my classmates started to get into the classroom one by one and at the same time I was asking them the same question “what does success mean for you?” they gave me different answers like

Deznel: success is when you achieved your goals without give up and you feel happy with what have you done.

Guadelsky: success is achievingsomething….something like a goal.

Jon Jairo: I consider the success is set a goal, achieved it and after it, Feel proud because you know that you did it well with your best effor.

Gabriel: success is to do something and feel proud about it, because that were something you were trying to do and you could do it.

some of them with the same meaning “success is to achieve even one of your goals “ . Those answers made me think about the kind of things that some humans have as a goal, and that is strange because most of the times people think success has a relationship with have money, have a big house, have more than one car and those things, but is not like that, because people with the same conditions consider that the success is a continuous search for personal improvement that never ends.

After some setbacks in my journey from cambridge to Stansted Airport I could take the correct coach to go to Colchester. After 1 and half hours of journey from Stansted Airport I arrived at Colchester Buss-Station (I can’t say anything about what happened during that 1 and half hour, because I fell asleep and I woke up some minutes before to arrive at the Buss-Station.).

When I thought that everything was going to be fine, the bus which I had to take to go to the Colchester zoo, hadn’t passed and I had to wait 1 hour for the next bus (in that moment I wanted to return to cambridge, but I realized that I had done many things to go to that zoo as to give up when I was to close to get it), after be waiting for 1 hour the bus pass and took us (a group of people which were waiting for the same bus to go to the zoo) to the zoo, on our way to the zoo the bus driver told us that we didn’t have to pay, because the bus made us wait too much. Got to the zoo just took 15 minutes (I was so happy, cuz after 3 hours of journey I could got to the zoo.), I really looked like a tourist, because I was taking photos of everything (even of the advertisement that had the name of the zoo). I walked until the main entrance to buy a ticket to get into the zoo, then I bought the ticket I started to walk through the zoo, watching different animals, taking photos of them and filming some videos to share with my mates.

(I’m not going to talk about all what I did in the zoo, because it can take many time)

After 3 hours enjoining the zoo, I left of the zoo (in that moment it was the 4:00 pm), because the coach, which was going to take me from Colchester to Stansted Airport, had to leave at 4:40 PM. Then of being waiting for 20 minutes without see pass the bus I got nervous, because it was getting late to take the coach. To don’t make this story too long, I’ll tell you that the bus passed at 4:50 (As I didn’t know that my credit card doesn’t pass on those busses the bus driver take me to the bus station for free) and I missed the coach and the other trains which I already had paid. So I had to take another route to return to cambridge.

I was diagnosed with “appendicitis” . as a normal night of Sunday I was with my friends of the flat #103, we’re watching a movie (guardians of the galaxy) because in the same week we’re going to see “Avengers End Game” in the cinema, around of the 12:00 am of Monday I started to feel pain in my stomach and when the movie finished I went to my flat to take some tablets, the pain didn’t disappear but I didn’t care and returned to the flat of my friends to see the next movie. At 3:30 am of Monday The pain felt stronger and when I decided go to my flat and try to sleep a little, but it didn’t finish on that moment. At 4:00 am I started to vomit, I was vomiting every 30 minutes until 8:00 am. I didn’t know what should I do because every thing was closed here in cambridge (was a holiday) and I couldn’t call to my mom or no one else in Panama because it was 2:00 am in there and every one were sleeping, so I had to wait until 2:00 PM to call to my mom and Ask her what should I do (on that moment I didn’t know I had appendicitis), she recommended me take some tablets because probably I had appendicitis, so I asked to my mates if they had those tablets and to my luck they didn’t. I could standed the pain, At 4:00 I called to the coordinator in Panama And I asked him Whether I could go to the hospital and use the health insurance, he allowed me to do that, so I didn’t waste time and called to my friends asked them if they could go with me to the hospital and 2 said yes. After some minutes talking by cellphone, We went to the reception of our building asked if some one could call an ambulance and they said that was going take too much time, and they advised me take a taxi, he asked a taxi for me and 5 minutes later the taxi arrived and took us to the hospital (addenbroooke’s hospital), I was seen at 6:00 PM then some exams a nurse told me I had appendicitis and I needed one surgery, I accepted and after 26 hours and too much pain I was taken to the surgery room at 11:00 PM of the Tuesday, the surgery was successful and I woke up at 3:00 am of the Wednesday without know where I was. I rested Wednesday and morning of thursday and the doctor give some advices, he told some things I can not do and give me some tablets, then of all that he let me go to my flat at 11:00 am of Thursday.

All that process was easier because I had the help of my friends, the coordinators in Panama and of coordinators here in cambridge.

I’m thankful with my friends Aod and Anica because they helped me to go to the hospital and also they helped me when I try to communicate me with the nurse when I couldn’t talk by the pain.

Today my friends from my province (Chiriqui) and I filmed a Motivational video (talking about our experiences in the A.S.P. (After School Program, an English course)) to send it to Panama🇵🇦 and motivate the students who are this year in the A.S.P. to continue studying and attending to the English course.

With that video we try to show to those students who think it’s difficult go at morning for 4 hours to one English course and after that go to the school for 6 more hours, and do that for 7 months is not easy but also it’s not so hard as they think.

This morning at 8:00 am I decided go to one zoo, But as I didn’t know which zoo was better. After someminutes looking for one zoo I found 3 of them in google. I don’t why but I thought was a good Idea go to colchester zoo, why do I say “it was a good Idea” because to get to colchester zoo I had to take 2 busses (from Cambridge to Audly and From Audly to Stansted airport) and 2 busses (from Stansted Airport to Colchester buss station and Colchester buss station to Colchester zoo) and walk sominutes and do the same thing to return to cambridge, at 10:30 I was on my way to colchester I missed the train that I should take so I had to wait for the next one. At 10:45 am arrived the next train I took it without know if it was the correct train and after I get into the train I asked to one woman if “this train is going to Audly” and she answer me yes, after some minutes I arrived to Audly I thought I should take another train to go to Stansted Airport as said in google but when I left of the train I asked to one woman “which train did ai have to take to go to Stansted Airport” and she told me “that one” the train where I was…to be continue

Some of my friends and I went to a forest outside of cambridge city. I don’t remember the name of that forest, but whether there is something that I won’t forget is how my mates and I enjoy that day. We lunched in the middle of the forest some sandwiches that ashly made. During that trip we saw some animals like yacks and some ponies, which were in a farm near to the forest. We almost got lost because we walked through the forest for 30 minutes and We didn’t remember how go out of there. that was a lovely day, we really enjoyed that day.

We ( all the Panamanian students) went to the zoology’s museum in cambridge university. There we saw many interesting things like animals that lived many years ago and also animals that are still alive in different parts of our planet. We have a lovely guide who showed and told us datas that we didn’t know, after 2 hours we left of that museum and some of my friend and I went to archeology museum, which is also in cambridge university. There we could admire some fossils of dinosaurs and see part of what the scientists have found.
